Finnkino is the the biggest cinema chain in Finland. In this virtual project setting, their plan to expand the business, by launching a sub-brand, Finnkinoon, which allows expats in Finland, and those Finnish citizens who are interested in international movies, to upvote what they want to watch. And once it hits a minimum target, Finnkino shows that movie in the theatre.

The logo is completely made by geometry, which brings the sense of rationality. At the same time, it contains lots of circles and curves, which express the friendly feeling and welcoming. Additionally, it is perfectly consistent with Finnkino.
The button came from On of Finnkinoon, which shows "on"(English), and "go to"(Finnish) delivering a momentum of moving forward.
The on-and-off button can be extended to progress bar, which leads to the key function of Finnkinoon: voting pool and upvote progress.
It can also be viewed as the eye when people is watching movie, which also perfectly fits the core of this brand.
In this project, I was responsible for branding design and its mobile app UI design which focused on 2 scenarios. These branding assets would help build up a promising community for movie-enthusiasts. It would help Finnkino to increase the connection with customers, as well as improve their loyalty to Finnkino group. Moreover, the design would help explore potential new customers and establish stronger relationship with people.
