We planned to develop an online tool to provide better experience and increase the consumers stickiness, by working on the Mini APP design and development in the agile approach. When I take over the project, it's already released for the first launch. However, I found a severe problem there: it was heavily deviate from the branding design of I KNOW I KNOW, since no visual designer was involved in the first stage. From there, I helped the team re-position the APP and define the visual language progressively.

The main visual problem of of the old interface was, it didn't align with the branding style, which was and playful with doodles, full of imagination.
Instead, the sharp shapes is against the branding style. IP characters were placed randomly there, while not adding value.
First of all, we defined the design language, and navigated it to be function-oriented, but do not vote out the branding visual design.
We started from the front page because that is the most urgent but also unfinished page back then.
Initially, the homepage featured users' books. We iteratively refined the information architecture and layout for improved usability. As the service evolved, the homepage content adapted, ultimately showcasing Playpaper prominently.
The popularity of Playpaper has been proven. Now, it's time to further enhance the user experience by incorporating more brand visuals and introducing engaging interactions to make it even more enjoyable.
The component I dived in most was the button design. Using the doodle style from the branding, it delivered the dynamic feeling in interactions.
The website aims to showcase the product and introduce "I KNOW I KNOW," with a primary focus on building brand awareness and guiding users to the Mini APP and online community, which offer the main services. The website has met the requirement that developed as a minimum viable product (MVP) within a tight timeline: design in 1 week and implementation in 2 weeks.
